The pressure of material, wage, and energy costs have proved challenging throughout the year which has resulted in efficiencies being found in the business helping to mitigate some of the higher operating costs. The Group also continued to invest in infrastructure and technologies to find further long term cost savings. The Group also overcame a short period of reduced activity during the year due to review and restructuring of some of the production processes.”
