Significant events

“In March 2025 we applied for planning permission for an extension to the covered plant area at Esher. This will provide an additional 1000 sqm of covered retail space for plants and gardening product, protecting the stock and customers from extremes of weather. Permission has since been granted, and the project is due to commence in late July 2025, with the goal of it being completed in time for the Christmas set in mid-November.”
“The company which ran the restaurant at Esher got into trading difficulties in May 2025 and the operation has since been taken over by Thompson Bros. (Esher) Ltd. The restaurant is trading well, following the successful TUPE of the restaurant team and key staff were retained.”
“On the farm, organised events appear to be gaining momentum with pumpkin harvest being increasingly more popular and of financial importance. The Maize Maze was successful and will be repeated again in 2025.”
