On 6 January 2026, St George's School Ascot Trust Limited entered into a merger deed with St Albans Education Group ("STAEG") (Company Registration Number 00321911 and Charity Registration Number 311065). Under the terms of the merger, the assets, liabilities and activities of the school will transfer to STAEG in the summer of 2026. From the transfer date, the School will continue to operate as part of the STAEG family of schools. Following the transfer, St George's School Ascot Trust Limited will cease operations and be wound up. The financial statements are therefore prepared on a basis other than the going concern basis.
