“At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the group and the parent company have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements. The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis notwithstanding the fact that the group and the parent company has a deficiency on shareholders' funds at 31 December 2024 and the group has generated a loss for the financial year. The directors consider the basis to be appropriate as the group has received a letter of support from its joint venture shareholders, confirming their intentions and ability to continue to assist the group with its working capital requirements and financing arrangements over the forthcoming twelve months from the date of the approval of these financial statements.”
