Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “The barbecue business suffered from a third consecutive year of reduced turnover, principally as a result of poor weather conditions during the key early Summer sales months. The business continued its diversification into the winter fuels market, a small increase in turnover was achieved but this area is proving very competitive and it will be necessary to significantly develop our supply chain in this area in order to achieve significant future growth.”
- “There was a reduction in gross profit margin during the year which combined with the reduced turnover has led to a significant reduction in profitability despite overhead costs remaining fairly stable.”
- “The company continues to develop its internal operations both in terms of people and IT which the Directors consider is key to positioning the company for continued growth and profitability.”
- “Due to the seasonal nature of the company's products, the business is subject to significant fluctuations in its working capital requirements. The directors have put in place additional facilities during the periods of peak cash requirement and these are supported by continuous negotiations throughout the supply chain and robust credit control procedures to ensure that resources are available to support and develop trading activities.”
