Significant events

• “Turnover for the year was £11.6m (2024: £12.9m). The reduction was driven entirely by project deferrals across the wider construction market during the first half of the year - not by any loss of competitive position. The Company's order book grew consistently throughout the period and closed the year at its strongest level in the Company's history, providing substantial revenue visibility for the periods ahead. The Directors responded decisively. Overhead, which had been set at the start of the year in anticipation of growth, was realigned to reflect revised revenue phasing. This included targeted headcount reductions in certain areas, whilst protecting front-line service delivery, key customer relationships and the technical capabilities essential for future expansion. Rather than scale back during the quieter months, the Company deliberately accelerated its research and development programme. Circa £225,000 of development expenditure will be capitalised as intangible fixed assets, representing meaningful investment in new products, enhanced designs and intellectual property that will generate returns over multiple future periods.”
