• “During the year, the directors identified that a dividend declared during the prior year had not been recognised in the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024. As a result, dividends payable were understated and retained earnings were overstated in those financial statements. A corresponding entry of £1,300,000 to increase dividends payable and decrease retained earnings as at 31 December 2024 has been made to reflect this.”
