• “Subsequent to the financial year ended, on 24 October 2024, Nationwide Hire Limited was acquired through a successful Management Buyout (MBO) led by the existing leadership team. This transaction marked a significant milestone in the company's evolution and was underpinned by a strategic refinancing agreement. The MBO facilitated a substantial debt write down of £17 million and introduced a five-year refinancing arrangement with the group's principal lender. The lender remains committed to supporting the business and its leadership team in achieving its long-term strategic objectives. In conjunction with the acquisition, a reorganisation of the corporate structure was implemented, delivering meaningful cost savings within FY 2025.”
