“At the balance sheet date, the company made a profit for the year of £423k and had net assets at that date of £4,736k. Subsequent to the year end, the business has traded profitably and largely in line with budget expectations and above the same period in 2024. The outlook for 2025 is ahead of 2024 as consumer confidence returns, interest rates begin to fall and the business is once again able to sell insurance and other value added products. Management continue to investigate new ways to conduct business and develop manufacturer relationships, which combined with ongoing capital investments result in the company trading profitably. We continue to enjoy the full support of the bank and our franchise partners, all of whom are kept fully informed on the ongoing cashflow forecasts and financial performance projections. As a result, the directors believe that the company will be able to continue in business and meet its liabilities as they fall due for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of the financial statements.”

• “The business now operates both Skoda and MG franchises for Southampton from the single site located in Botley. The MG operation relocated from its previous trading location at West Quay, Southampton, where it was reported under Richmond Cars Southampton Limited. Both manufacturers continue to grow market share and the business is well placed to benefit from this and the expanding product range on offer, especially electric vehicles. As the MG car parc continues to grow the opportunity for the aftersales service in the business also increases.”
