“The directors have performed an assessment of going concern including a review of current cash and headroom position, available banking facilities and financial forecasts for the next 12 months. The company has experienced, and continues to experience challenges in the trading environment, as highlighted in the Strategic Report on page 1, however the directors believe there is sufficient headroom to enable the company to trade through this difficult period whilst they work to overcome these challenges. Having considered the above factors, at the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”

• “Product dumping at below UK manufactured cost remains a major disruptor for the UK lubricant industry. While provisional duties have been introduced, final TRA measures are still pending. Until these are fully enacted, the company will continue to face margin pressure and volume erosion.”
• “The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) concluded its investigation into products imported from Lithuania and the UAE. Aztec Oils played a leading role in the complaint, and the TRA confirmed dumping margins of up to 89%, with UK prices undercut by 30-40%. Provisional duties of 11.6% to 59.4% were announced in April 2025, with updated figures released in September. These new duties rates range from 84.7%- 95.4%, for imports from Lithuania, and 0.0%-34.6% for imports from UAE. However, these are being challenged by various parties with a final decision only expected later in the year.”
• “Aztec responded with a multi-pronged strategy: maintaining pricing discipline, reducing administrative overheads, and expanding into new export markets. Sales outside the EU rose by 23%, helping offset a 19% decline in UK volumes. The company also continued its advocacy efforts, working closely with the UK Lubricants Association and TRA to protect domestic producers.”
