However, the Government's subsequent nationwide withdrawal of NCS funding has removed a significant income stream, creating challenges for 2025/26 which required careful financial planning and strategic adjustment.”
- “In June 2022 a wheelyboat at Roadford Lake capsized without warning with the loss of two lives. The charity continued to work with the police and various agencies to understand the circumstance around this incident, in the hope that a similar event may be avoided in the future. Until this work is concluded we have decided not to operate wheelyboats.”
