“The directors have prepared the financial statements using the going concern basis of accounting, which they consider to be appropriate having assessed the Company's financial position and prospects and have concluded that they expect the Company to continue as a going concern for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements.”

Significant events

• “Revenue in 2024 decreased by 18.0%, primarily due to planned downsizing of the business following UK and US restrictions. Gross profit in 2024 decreased by a slightly higher percentage due to changes in sales mix. Profit after tax decreased by 26.3% primarily as a result of Gross Profit reductions and changes in 'Other operating (expense) /income'. Shareholders' funds decreased by 19.8% primarily as a result of a £8.6m dividend distribution made during the year and £6.2m profit achieved during the year. Fixed assets on a net basis decreased by £5.6m primarily due to depreciation charges for the year and the £5.7m decrease in the original cost of fixed assets was the result of minor new asset acquisitions and partial retirement of the Company's datacenter facilities. The £15m decrease in Debtors reflected the planned downsizing of the Company's business as well as improved credit management. Trade and other creditors falling due within one year decreased by £20.5m due to reductions in commercial contract related provisions as a result of the Company settling commercial disputes with its customers and payroll related accruals as a result of reductions in number of employees.”
