Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “Despite challenging market conditions, the company remained profitable. While turnover was level with the prior year, operating profit saw a decrease of £1m due to an increase in administrative costs.”
- “Gross profit margin improved by 1% as food cost inflation stabilised and selling prices were adjusted.”
- “The net assets of the Company were £4.5m (2023: £5.1m) at the balance sheet date, reflecting the solid position of the Company from a solvency and liquidity point of view, and this strong balance sheet is the foundation on which the Company can continue to grow and prosper.”
- “The company continues to substantially invest in its restaurants as part of a programme to upgrade the looks and feel of its restaurants with new and enhanced equipment and thereby improve its customers' and employees' experience. This forms part of its strategy to grow market share and profitability.”
