The UK construction industry has always been prone to peaks and troughs and from 2023, the market suffered a contraction which has been one of the most severe that we have ever experienced. The UK construction market has continued to face challenges since then with rising costs, planning issues, and a lack of skilled labour all contributing to the sector's limited growth.”
