“The company reported a loss after tax of £4,033,834 and had net liabilities of £6,151,097. The wider Maru Group is owned by Stagwell UK limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stagwell Inc a company incorporated in the United States of America and listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. The company relies on its own working capital and the financial support of the ultimate parent company. In conducting their going concern assessment, the directors have prepared cash forecasts which take account of current and expected market conditions and the wider macro economy. The directors have modelled scenarios and sensitivities and have made inquiries the directors have received confirmations in writing of the financial support of its ultimate parent undertaking, Stagwell Inc, the next twelve months from the date of signing these financial statemerts. On this basis, the directors are of the opinion that the going concern concept is an appropriate basis on which to prepare the company's financial statements.”

• “The Hub technology platform previously developed within the company and utilised across the group has begun to be replaced by other new Stagwell product offerings and, as a result, licensing revenues within Maru/edr Limited reduced during 2024 as the company instead focused on the core research part of the business. The value of intangible investment in the platform assets was therefore written down, resulting in an exceptional charge of £1,679, 898 in the year.”
