“The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, notwithstanding net current liabilities of £1,718,000 (2023: £2,247,000) and net liabilities of £566,000 (2023:£1,059,000) at the balance sheet date. The Premier Mushroom Group Limited is dependent on its parent undertaking, Monaghan Mushrooms Limited, for financial and other support. The parent company has indicated its willingness to provide this financial support for at least one year from the date of approval of these financial statements. On that basis, the directors are satisfied that the going concern basis of preparation of the financial statements is appropriate.”
