- “In November 2024, a fund administration processing error occurred in one of the Company's sub-funds, relating to the forex reclassification process on foreign income currency balances. This issue impacted the income price of the sub-fund and was later identified during the 2025 financial year audit on 9th April 2025. The error contributed to the sub-fund being undervalued from ex-date 2 December 2025 until the date of signing these financial statements. The net impact is that too much income was distributed on 2 December 2024, and dealing on the fund from 2 December to discovery date was done at too low a NAV price. The Company is currently recognising an expense of £4,774,363 in respect of this error. This error was made in the services provided to the Company by a fellow subsidiary undertaking of the Apex Group. The Company has retrospectively accrued for the recovery of the expense from its fellow subsidiary resulting in a nil impact to the Company's profitability.”
