The reduction in revenue of £1.50 million or 15.35% was primarily attributable to subdued levels of activity within the construction sector, reflecting the impact of sustained high interest rates and inflationary pressures. Gross margin as a percentage of sales declined to 33.69% (2024: 35.07%), with the reduction largely driven by increases in national minimum wage and employers' National Insurance contributions in accordance with legislative changes. The operating profit for the year was £931,855 (2024: £764,807) This has improved compared to last year due to reduction staff pension contribution to £360,000 (2024: £1,180,000).”
