The group's ability to continue as a going concern is dependent on the continued financial support of its ultimate parent undertaking, Experimental Group SAS. At the reporting date, a balance of £23.6m (2024: £22.6m) included in creditors due within one year was owed to Experimental Group SAS. Whilst the group does not have sufficient cash resources to settle this balance if repayment were demanded in the short term, the directors of Experimental Group SAS have confirmed it will continue to provide financial support and will not seek repayment of the balance in the foreseeable future.
