Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

Margins divide P&L lines by turnover. Gearing is liabilities over total assets. Current ratio is current assets over creditors falling due within one year. Interest cover is operating profit over absolute finance costs. Margin ratios are hidden where reported turnover is too small relative to profit to yield a meaningful figure — typical of holding companies whose income is mostly subsidiary dividends rather than trading revenue. “Based on enquiries, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence and meet its liabilities as they fall due for the foreseeable future. The company's customers are fellow group undertakings and the company has received a letter of financial support from its ultimate parent company. The company is therefore dependent on the performance of the group. Without such support the company would not be a going concern. The directors have reviewed the management accounting information together with the forecast for the group and the latest financial information and are confident that the group can provide the required financial support for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements. Accordingly, the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “The Company sold the subsidiary undertaking post year end therefore has impaired the carrying value of the investment down to its recoverable amount, being the consideration received post year end.”
