“The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis which assumes that the Group and the Company will be able to continue trading for the foreseeable future. During the year, the Company was acquired by Etablissements Nicolas S.A. which operates the Nicolas wine retailer in France. The UK group owes £2,406,938 to the parent group and they have confirmed that they will not request repayment of the balance due within the next twelve months. In addition, they have confirmed that they will continue to provide financial support to the Company and its Group for the foreseeable future. Based on the above indications, the directors believe that it remains appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
