- “The Company has provided services to customers participating in legal actions against card schemes in relation to multilateral interchange fees. The Company's consideration includes a variable fee calculated as a percentage of customer recoveries, which may be determined on either a gross or net basis and may include interest elements. At 30 April 2025, and the date of signing the financial statements, while legal outcomes to date have been favourable to merchants, allocation processes and settlement distributions remain ongoing. In accordance with FRS 102 Section 21, no asset has been recognised because inflows are not yet virtually certain. The matter is disclosed as a contingent asset as an inflow is probable.”
