“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the group's and the parent company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”

- “On 23 May 2025, of the group's facilities in Rushden, Northamptonshire suffered a significant fire. The directors were satisfied that the incident originated from an accidental source, and subsequent external investigations have confirmed this. The directors have assessed the costs and losses as well as reviewing procedures to prevent further recurrence. The plant and processing lines affected substantially returned to operation in 2025. The directors believe that results would have significantly exceeded the already promising results achieved, notwithstanding the fire. Liability has been accepted in principle and discussions are ongoing to quantify the value resulting from the losses. As a result a prudent amount for receivables has been recognised in the current financial statements.”
