“The Company does not believe that the conflict in the Middle East, the cost-of-living crisis or inflation will impact its ability to continue operating as a going concern. To date, we have not observed any material impact on our activities arising from these geopolitical or economic factors, and the Company has continued to perform well against sales and profit targets. The resilience of the business is supported by a significant proportion of revenue being generated through online sales. In light of the conflict in the Middle East, the cost-of-living crisis and inflationary pressures, the directors have prepared forecasts for the period ending 30 June 2027. These forecasts demonstrate that the Company has access to sufficient cash throughout the assessment period and can remain in operational existence for the foreseeable future. A number of downside scenarios have been modelled, including reverse stress testing. The directors are confident that the Company is self-sufficient and does not rely on financial support from the parent company. Future forecasts remain in line with budget expectations, and, for these reasons, the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and accounts.”
