Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

“These financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The Board is confident that in the current circumstances the group will generate sufficient net internal cash flows and have adequate undrawn bank facilities to meet all of its needs for a period of at least 12 months from the date of signing these financial statements.”
Significant events
- “The 12 months to 29 December 2024 continued to feel the prolonged effect of the national cost of living crisis, with high inflation levels persisting into the year and consumer confidence diminishing. The cost of goods price pressures were partly mitigated through selling price adjustments, menu engineering and effective purchasing practices. The sizable 9.8% increase in national minimum wage put additional strain on profitability, with a small recovery recognised through effective labour management. The Easter trade in 2024 reported a significant reduction in guest numbers, resulting in a sizable impact to profitability for a single trading period. Beyond June 2024 the company reported a year on year improvement in EBITDA.”
- “The economic outlook for the year ahead remains challenging, the service-led nature of the hospitality sector means it will be severely impacted by the combination of a sizable increase in NMW and the decrease in the Employers National Insurance allowance in 2025.”
- “In July 2023, the company transitioned from a £5.6m loan facility to a £3m RCF which also supports The Seafood Restaurant (Padstow) Limited group, a related group. The term of the agreement is 3 years and the financial covenant group, the company and the related group, is required to comply with a leverage test financial covenants on a quarterly basis.”
