“After reviewing the Company's forecasts, which cover the 12-month period from the date of signing the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. A reasonable downside scenario in income and expenditure has also been considered. Under both the forecast and reasonable downside scenario, the directors are confident that the Company will have sufficient funds for the Company to meet liabilities as they fall due over the next 12 months. The Company therefore continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing its financial statements. In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the Group and Parent Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
