- “The year ending 31 March 2025 was a challenging one, with market forces contributing to another difficult period for the housebuilding sector, particularly for SMEs based in the South East. Interest rates remained high, and coupled with a lack of consumer confidence, the rate of new home sales declined significantly, resulting in a substantial drop in revenue for the financial year. We expect to recover this lost revenue in the subsequent financial year, as certain sites near build completion and more units become available for sale.”
