- “The Company posted a loss in this financial year, mainly due to the movement out of this financial year of a large drama production, which instead commenced during the following year. Despite the loss, the Company's production output continued to grow, with the Company commencing production of Two Weeks in August, a major drama production for the BBC, and produced 'Spent' and Such Brave Girls season 2, both comedies for the BBC. This financial year was also the continuation of a run of major award wins and nominations, including two baftas. By the end of this financial year, Various Artists was preparing to film Two Weeks in August, as well as Juice season 2 (for the BBC), and was in the process of setting up production of a major drama set in Ghana and London.”
