“At the balance sheet date the Group had net current liabilities of £5,555,103 (2024: £1,305,423). Included within current liabilities is approximately £5.8 million owed to the director and ultimate beneficial owner of the wider group and other undertakings under his control. The director and the relevant undertakings under common control have confirmed that these balances will not be called for repayment unless and until the Company's liquidity position improves such that it is able to meet its liabilities as they fall due. On this basis, the directors have concluded that it remains appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis.”

- “Following the year end, one of the subsidiaries rebranded the hotel from "Best Western" to "Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton". The rebranding is expected to result in significant one off implementation and transition costs which may have a short term adverse impact on profitability. However, the Directors believe that the change will enhance the hotel's market positioning and customer reach through association with the Hilton brand and its distribution platform, and accordingly expect profitability to improve over the longer term.”
