- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “During this period, we have delivered a profit after tax of £380k (2022/2023 12 months - £41k loss). This is the first time the company has delivered a profitable result since its creation in 2017 and, whilst there is a boost to the figures from the extended financial year, is a true reflection of the company's more stable financial position.”
- “We transitioned most of our food sourcing to a new supplier in September 2024 and this supported the achievement of food costs remaining under budget throughout the year.”
