Material uncertainty over going concern
These financial statements are prepared on the going concern basis. The director has a reasonable expectation that the group will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. However, the director is aware of certain material uncertainties which may cause doubt on the group's ability to continue as a going concern. The directors recognise that the group has net liabilities as at 31st December 2024, however this is due to the start up phase of the businesses and the forecasts show the companies should be profitable in the future. The group has also renegotiated its borrowing commitments on more favourable terms. These borrowing commitments have previously resulted in significant losses. In the foreseeable future the group intends to significantly increase its available production capacity followed by increased output and turnover and thus, improve the debt-equity ratio resulting in operational profits. On this basis along with the fact the group has access to shareholder support if required the director continues to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.
