Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
Ratios
Computed from the line items above — sparklines read oldest → newest
| Ratio | Trend | 2019-06-30 | 2020-06-30 | 2021-06-30 | 2024-03-31 | 2025-03-31 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Return on capital employed | — | — | — | -4.3% | — | |
| Gearing (liabilities / total assets) | — | — | — | 29.3% | 13.6% | |
| Current ratio | — | — | — | 0.67x | 1.24x | |
| Interest cover | — | — | — | -32.79x | — |
Gearing is liabilities over total assets. Current ratio is current assets over creditors falling due within one year. Interest cover is operating profit over absolute finance costs. Margin ratios are hidden where reported turnover is too small relative to profit to yield a meaningful figure — typical of holding companies whose income is mostly subsidiary dividends rather than trading revenue. “The trustees have obtained commitments from viable sources for sufficient funding to support the Charity's activities for the period through to 31 March 2027 (see note 23). The trustees have therefore made an assessment of going concern in respect of a period of at least one year from the date of authorisation for issue of the financial statements and have concluded that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for at least this period and there are no material uncertainties about the charity's ability to continue as a going concern, thus they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting when preparing the financial statements.”
