- Going concern
- Affirmed
“At the time of approving the financial statements, the director has a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The company's sources of finance include retained profits, invoice discounting facilities, other facilities and support from the ultimate controlling party. Having reviewed the projected working capital requirements of the group to which the company belongs and the available facilities at the time of approving these financial statements, the board concludes that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future, and for a period of not less than twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements, and adopts the going concern basis of accounting.”
Significant events
- “Market challenges still exist with the impact of inflation as well as the undoubted opportunism of materials suppliers. With the ongoing global factors such as global conflicts, we continue to feel a sense of destabilisation which has negatively affected our cost controls.”
- “Uncertainty in the global economy and its impact on costs, both materials and labour. Impact on our customers and potentially their ability to trade. Slowing of the market sector itself. Retention of staff. Competitive market particularly around price, quality and delivery.”
