Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

“The group has reported a net loss of £10,483,461 (2024 - £9,794,373) for the year ended 30 June 2025 and as at 30 June 2025 had net liabilities of £7,452,275 (2024 - £24,968,814). ...The group has received a letter of support from Cheyne Real Estate Credit (CRECH) V - Opportunist S.A.R.L. 2., confirming their intention to continue providing financial support to the company and the wider group under the existing facilities, and to make available any additional funding required during this period. The group's ability to continue as a going concern is dependent on the continued availability of this financial support. The forecasts prepared by management assume that existing financing facilities will remain in place on terms no less favourable than those currently agreed, and that additional facilities will be made available to the group as required. After reviewing those forecasts and the letter of support, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the group has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, these financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis and do not include any adjustments that would be required if the group were unable to continue to operate on a going concern basis.”

Significant events
- “During the year, the business completed a corporate restructuring exercise which brought together all of the trading Backhouse entities (including Backhouse Opportunities Limited, Backhouse Housing Limited and Backhouse Construction Limited) under a new group parent company, Backhouse Group Limited. This has simplified and clarified the ownership structure of the business and created a more coherent, consolidated construction group.”
- “As part of this restructuring exercise, the business's main shareholder and debt provider, Cheyne Capital, agreed a £28m debt-to-equity swap. This has had the effect of significantly strengthening the Group balance sheet by reducing the overall net liability position, putting the business on a stronger footing going forward.”
