“The group has reported a loss before tax of £3.5m for the year ended 30 April 2025 as a result of both a reduction in turnover and a significant increase in overheads. The directors have prepared profit and cash flow forecasts through to 30 April 2027. These forecasts show reduced losses for the year ended 30 April 2026, as a result of cost savings and development of new business streams. The forecasts indicate a return to profitability for the year ended 30 April 2027. Based on the cash flow forecasts, no additional funding is expected to be required from the director. Nevertheless, the director has provided a formal letter of support to Applied Satellite Technology Limited confirming he will continue to provide financial support, if required, for a period of at least one year from the date of the signing of the financial statements. As a consequence, the directors believe that the group is well placed to manage its business risks successfully despite the current uncertain economic outlook. Accordingly, it remains appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
