Ratios

Computed from the line items above — sparklines read oldest → newest

Ratio Trend 2024-03-312025-03-31
Return on capital employed -40.7%-42.3%
Current ratio 0.99x0.44x
Interest cover -2.62x-1.70x

Gearing is liabilities over total assets. Current ratio is current assets over creditors falling due within one year. Interest cover is operating profit over absolute finance costs. Margin ratios are hidden where reported turnover is too small relative to profit to yield a meaningful figure — typical of holding companies whose income is mostly subsidiary dividends rather than trading revenue. Going concern
Affirmed

“The directors have reviewed cashflow forecasts for a period of more than 12 months from the signing of the financial statements. With the funding provided by the debt facility, the group has adequate funding to enable it to meet its working capital needs. Therefore at the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the group has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
