“One of the companies in the group commenced trading during the previous year and made significant losses in the 2024 and 2025 financial years, leading to negative reserves at its balance sheet date. That Group company is dependent upon the financial support of the Donnybrook (Holdings) Limited Group to continue trading and to meet its liabilities as they fall due. That company's individual projections and the Group projections show an improving trend in profitability in 2026 and into 2027 and current performance is in line with those projections. Also there are significant unrealised gains on unencumbered properties within the group. The directors of the Group have therefore indicated their willingness to continue to provide the support for that company for the foreseeable future and for at least 12 months from the date of signature of the financial statements. In that regard the directors are satisfied that the company can continue to operate as a going concern for the foreseeable future. The financial statements do not contain any adjustments should this support not be available.”
