“The company acts as an intermediary holding company and does not trade. All transactions are therefore intercompany in nature. The company's parent company will make funds available as and when required and intercompany loans due to other subsidiaries will not be recalled to this effect, where it would call into question the company's going concern status. At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
