“Despite the company operating in difficult financial conditions, the director is pleased with the performance in the year which resulted in positive operating cashflows and a strong EBITDA result. The director has considered forecast trading and cashflows for the next 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and remains optimistic about future prospects. This is underpinned by positive performance across the company's venues. The net current liability position is acknowledged however, the director has confidence that the company can meet its liabilities as they fall due given the credit terms in place and regular inflow of cash from trading activities. The director has also re-affirmed his support for the company in confirming he will not call for repayment of amounts due (note 26) if it were to impact on the ability of the company to trade as a going concern, and to provide additional funding to the company to support it in meeting its obligations as required. The director, therefore, has made an informed judgement, at the time of approving the financial statements, that the company can continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and as a result has continued to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements.”
