“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the Directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. In reaching this conclusion, the directors have considered a range of financial forecasts which takes into account the activity levels in the oil and gas sector. Based on these, the directors are satisfied that the company has adequate financial resources to enable it to continue to operate and to meet its liabilities as they fall due for a period of at least 12 months from the approval of these financial statements. The directors have therefore continued to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
