• “During this period, we made steady progress with the repair programme at Garrison House. The contractors began at the beginning of July 2024, and despite mixed weather, the repointing of the west elevation, the first stage, was completed along with initial stone replacements and work to the coping stones.”
• “In January, a full on-site meeting with Historic Environment Scotland and the architects confirmed that the standard of workmanship was excellent, and this allowed Phase 1 to be signed off. Scaffolding was then moved around the building and repairs continued at the south and east elevations.”
• “Good progress was also made within the Garrison. The library refurbishment including painting, new flooring, and the arrival of new furniture, modernised the space for residents and visitors. New library windows were also installed, as well as the first for Cumbrae Medical Practice, who were delighted with the improvements.”

• “We have continued to operate the island's public toilet blocks since we took over that role in April 2017 and were pleased to progress through Stage 2 of the Pit Stop Funding application. Planning approval was granted, and we awaited confirmation on funding allocations and timescales.”
• “Works being planned included upgrades at all sites, including solar and battery installation at all but the Cumbrae Slip site as this block will no longer be required once works by CMAL are completed. Solar power at Fintry will help us reopen this block and improvements to entry systems, installation of waterless urinals and the installation of additional defibrillators at our sites will also be happening.”
