Material uncertainty over going concern
We draw attention to Note 1.2 in the financial statements, which describes the charitable company's ability to continue as a going concern. The company are awaiting approval of significant funds into the year 2026/27, The outcome of these will be not confirmed until after the financial statements have been signed. This may cast doubt on the entity's ability to continue as a going concern. In auditing the Financial Statements, we have concluded that the director's use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the Financial Statements is appropriate Our opinion is not modified in respect of this matter.

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers

Significant events
- “The continuing cost-of-living crisis continues to impact on front line services ability to continue to deliver high quality services and AWA has not been immune to this.”
- “AWA, continues to see demand for our services increase not only the number of referrals but particularly the increasing complexity of referrals and the very high levels of mental health issues that are being presented. This has resulted in AWA introducing waiting lists for some of our longer-term services.”
- “The Board is committed to making staff welfare the highest priority moving forward, and to this end AWA has introduced Wellbeing Wednesday, once a month the staff team will be choosing a wellbeing activity to participate in, examples are yoga, walking, meditation etc.”
- “AWA is now well established in our new office premises at 290 High Street, Arbroath. The office is in an ideal location for the Bus Station, Train Station, and Town Centre. The extra space has allowed us to offer space to staff from other agencies where they can meet with women, and this has in turn strengthened existing partnerships and create new ones.”
