• “In February 2024, Scottish Rugby made the decision to disband the Super Series competition, replacing it with a different player pathway model. The decision to place Boroughmuir's 1st XV in the second tier, "National 1" has most certainly caused significant strain on BRCSC's ability to maintain a clear men's pathway from our Academy to professional rugby. Plans are being formulated to mitigate the impact, in a bid to maintain Boroughmuir's presence at the highest level of Scottish Club Rugby.”
