“The activities of the entity are that of a holding company, the entity does not trade in it's own right. At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for at least 12 months following signing of accounts. The company has net current liabilities however It has been confirmed that no group support is required based on the value of the operational subsidiary's reserves. In addition, the directors have reviewed and considered the volatility in the electricity pricing market, general rise in inflation in the UK economy and future cashflows from the operating business in making their assessment. Thus, the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
