• “During the preparation of the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024, management identified a material error in the recognition of revenue in the prior years following an internal review. Management reviewed revenue movements in relation to contracts and found that revenue had been overstated in previous years. A prior period adjustment has been made to reflect this accounting adjustment of which £607,243 related to 2023 and £78,288 related to the year ended 31 December 2022. Following an internal review, the directors identified that a receivable balance in the prior period should have been provided against in full. A prior period adjustment has been made to reflect this accounting adjustment by £97,983. Furthermore, the directors identified that deferred revenue balances had been incorrect offset against accrued revenue balances as no right of offset existed at the comparative balance sheet date. These amounts are now shown on a gross basis having been adjusted by £5,447,654.”
