“The going concern basis has been adopted in preparing the annual report and financial statements. The Company has adequate financial resources and no recourse to external borrowing. It continues to monitor its solvency and liquidity position in accordance with regulations determined by the PRA. The Company completes its own ORSA and is also included in the Group ORSA process. Work undertaken during the year evidenced that sufficient capital is available for the business plans of the Company. Moreover, the Company has sufficient resources to meet its obligations in any reasonable downside scenarios. The directors believe the Company is well placed to continue in operation for at least twelve months from the date of this report. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and financial statements of the Company.”
