“The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis which assumes that the Company will continue in operational existence for the period of at least one year from the date of approval of the financial statements. After considering the above, the Directors of Sulis Hospital Bath Ltd have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and conclude that it is appropriate for these financial statements to be prepared on a going concern basis.”

Significant events

• “On 1 October 2021, the Department of Health and Social Care announced that there would be 40 Community Diagnostic Centres launching across England. The hospital site run by the Company is one of the sites selected to be the diagnostic centre for the region. As a result, a new CT and MRI scanner was installed and became fully operational before 1 April 2023.”
• “The Company has since expanded its support of the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) by extending its offering across Endoscopy and Physiological Measurements and plans to continue to invest in increasing patient capacity and adding additional diagnostic services.”
• “In conjunction with Royal United Hospitals Bath, Great Western Hospital (Swindon) and Salisbury Foundation Trust, the Sulis Orthopaedic Centre (SOC) has been built at the Company's Bath site to deliver additional theatre capacity to the region, day case beds and inpatient capacity. The Centre is owned by the NHS and operated on its behalf by the Company under a managed service contract. The first patients were treated in this facility during the financial year, and it became fully operational in May 2025.”
