“The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. In determining the appropriate basis of preparation for these financial statements, the Board has assessed the Group's and Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements. This assessment included base forecasts, which were subsequently sensitised for plausible downside scenarios, and then compared with available cash and revised covenant requirements at ultimate parent level as applicable. As a result, the directors have a reasonable expectation that there are adequate resources, with the support of the wider group, for the Company to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and have therefore adopted the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
