Margins divide P&L lines by turnover. Gearing is liabilities over total assets. Current ratio is current assets over creditors falling due within one year. Interest cover is operating profit over absolute finance costs. Margin ratios are hidden where reported turnover is too small relative to profit to yield a meaningful figure — typical of holding companies whose income is mostly subsidiary dividends rather than trading revenue. “The directors have determined that preparing the financial statements on the going concern basis is appropriate as they believe that the Group has adequate resources to continue its operations in the foreseeable future due to the recurring investment advisory fees from current investor commitments to the Clipway Secondary Funds and expected new commitments into 2025 based on fundraising projections. The directors' going concern assessment covers the period of 12 months from the date of signing of the accounts. Based on these considerations, together with available market information and the directors' knowledge and experience of the Group, the directors have determined that the Group going concern basis of accounting is appropriate because there are no material uncertainties regarding the ability of the Group to continue as a going concern and therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements for the period ended 31 December 2024.”
