“The company has made losses of £2.2m (2023 - loss of £5.6m) in the year as a result of the extensive CAPEX program undertaken in 2023 and 2024 (post acquisition of the hotel and spa in 2022) to bring it in-line with the rest of the Experimental brand and increase room capacity. The company has a strong net asset position of £5.3m (2023: £5.5m) and greater revenue and profitability are expected in the coming years as the hotel capitalises on the improved quality of the whole offering and the increase in the number of available rooms. At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue its operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
